OUR STORY

Why We Do What We Do
Elite Sparkle Cleaning was built on a simple belief, that cleaning should be done to a higher standard.
Founded in Hobart, Tasmania by Jacquie Charlesworth, what started as a side hustle to earn extra income for herself and her daughter, Indiana, quickly grew through word of mouth, driven by attention to detail, reliability, genuine care for clients’ homes, and the signature luxury finishing touches that have become a hallmark of the Elite Sparkle experience.

From the beginning, Elite Sparkle was never about being the cheapest, it was about delivering a premium, consistent service that people can rely on. A service that gives clients their time back, reduces stress, and creates a home that feels calm, refreshed, and beautifully maintained.
We also believe that a higher standard of cleaning should come with a higher standard of care for the people delivering it. Our team is made up of skilled, hardworking professionals who are paid fairly and supported properly because exceptional results start with a valued team.

As demand grew, so did the vision.
Today, Elite Sparkle Cleaning continues to expand across Hobart and surrounding suburbs, supported by structured systems, trained professionals, and a clear standard that every team member is expected to uphold.
Every cleaner is carefully selected and trained to Elite Sparkle standards, delivering detailed, high-quality results with the luxury finishing touches that set our service apart.
But beyond the clean itself, our purpose runs deeper.

We are passionate about giving back to our community, supporting local families doing it tough with complimentary cleans, and contributing to those who serve our community every day.
At Elite Sparkle Cleaning, we’re not just providing a service, we’re creating an experience, building trust, and helping our clients enjoy their homes without the overwhelm.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Jacquie Jade Charlesworth

Elite Sparkle Cleaning isn’t just a business to me, it’s something I built through life’s hardest moments, with a deep desire to create a better future for myself and my daughter.
My journey hasn’t been easy.
I lost my mum suddenly to a brain aneurysm when my daughter, Indiana, was just 7 months old. There was no goodbye. Losing someone I was so deeply connected to changed me in ways I’m still learning to understand.
Not long after, life became about survival, navigating challenges, finding my footing, and trying to rebuild a sense of stability for both myself and my daughter.
Growing up, I always felt like I was behind. I struggled in school, repeated early years, and found it difficult to concentrate and keep up. As I got older, I went through periods of depression, feeling lost and unsure of who I was or where I was going.

But even in those moments, there was something inside me that knew, I was meant for more.
I didn’t want a life where I felt stuck, limited, or working endlessly without purpose. I wanted freedom. I wanted stability. And most importantly, I wanted to build a life my daughter could grow up feeling secure in.
What started as a small side hustle became my turning point.
Cleaning gave me something I didn’t realise I needed, control, clarity, and a sense of pride. The detail, the transformation, the feeling of creating a space that someone could walk into and instantly feel better… it became something I genuinely loved.

And from there, Elite Sparkle was built.
Since growing this business, I’ve been able to give back in ways that mean everything to me, supporting our local emergency services here in Hobart, helping mums who are doing it tough with complimentary deep cleans, and uplifting other local businesses within our community.
Because I know what it feels like to need support.
I also believe our clients deserve more than just a clean. They deserve to come home, breathe, and feel taken care of. That’s why every service we provide is done with intention, pride, and the luxury finishing touches that make all the difference.

I’m still growing. I still have my good days and my hard days. But I continue to show up, for my daughter, for my team, and for the life I’m building.
Because this is more than just a business.
It’s proof that no matter where you start, you can create something better.
